New bathroom, kitchen, heating system and decorate Llandudno property

This job included a new bathroom, kitchen, heating system and to fully redecorate a large detached property. These tasks were designed, supplied and installed by J.T. Cox Group.

The only criteria given by our customer was to make the property more appealing to prospective rental customers within a given budget. The total project took five weeks to complete and the house was rented out within just five days of completion.

Bathroom
Removed the old bathroom suite, airing cupboard, toilet and wood paneling.
Removed the dividing wall between the toilet and bathroom.
Removed and bricked up the window from the old toilet.
Constructed a new doorway for the bathroom.
Installed as much of the pipe work as possible under the floor.
Repaired and patched the walls and floor ready for tiling.
Installed the new bathroom suite to include a large quadrant shower tray and cubicle, bath, basin and toilet.
Fully tiled the floor and walls within the shower cubicle area and half tiled the remaining wall areas.

Heating system

Removed the old floor standing boiler and all of the radiators in the property.
Installed a new wall-hung condensing combination boiler, including the fitting of new radiators, pipe work and thermostatic radiator valves throughout.
Special features: A remote control unit to aid the easy use of the heating system.

Decorating

All of the walls ceilings and woodwork were stripped and sanded, and repaired where needed. All the walls and ceilings were lined with wallpaper then three coats of emulsion were applied. All woodwork was painted with a satin finish water-based gloss.

The total project took five weeks to complete and the house was rented out within five days of completion.
